Reading the Centre's Collections and multi-media materials at the Centre.
The Centre offers a variety of services such as answering users’ enquiries, providing guidance on using Centre's resources. For enquiries, please contact the Centre staff in person or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Photocopy and printing services
The Centre provides black and white A4 size paper for photocopying and printing services. The charge of each page is HK$0.5, only standard octopus card is accepted for payment.
The Centre provides a number of Internet workstations for users to use.
On-site access to electronic databases
The Centre offers electronic databases of a wide variety of subjects, especially on educational themes and issues. Users can get access to these electronic resources onsite at the Centre.
Online access to web-based resources catalogue
Centre users can search the Web-based Public Access Catalog (WebPAC) through the Centre's website for the entire collection of the Centre.
Learning and teaching resources lists
To save teachers’ time in preparing teaching materials and to help parents understand their children's needs in learning and studying, the Centre updates regularly the learning and teaching resources lists provided by the Education Bureau. The list can be obtained at the Centre or downloaded from the CRC website.
Services for CRC registered borrowers only
CRC registered borrowers can renew their borrowed item(s) here.
CRC registered borrowers can place a hold on an item by making a request here.
Remote access to electronic databases and electronic journals
Some electronic databases and electronic journals subscribed by the Centre are available for remote access by CRC registered borrowers, including some full-text articles.
Additional services for teachers and EDB staff (CRC registered borrowers only)
Restricted access to a collection of marking schemes of HKDSE, HKCEE and HKALE
The Centre offers a collection of previous and the latest marking schemes of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), Hong Kong Certificate Examination (HKCEE) and Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority for teachers' reference. Teachers can make a request at the counter to access the collection for private study at the Centre.
